We're officially halfway through the year, folks! I don't mark this milestone by calendar days, but by empty skincare bottles. I do two big hauls a year—one in January and another in June/July. The other day, I noticed I was running low on almost everything and thought… Wow, 2024 is flying by. My method—though arguably disorganized—never lets me down.
So, before I toss what’s done and switch it up (or refill), I thought I’d share...
Skincare
Osea // Sea Mineral Mist - Reorder. I do rotate it with Evan Healy’s Rose HydroSoul, but both are 10/10.
Weleda // Skin Food - Reorder til the day I die. $17, clean, made in Europe, you can find it anywhere. What more do you want? I go through at least a bottle a month.
Osea // Atmosphere Protection Cream - Reorder. I only use this in the AM before sunscreen, but my skin seems to dig it.
Osea // Hyaluronic Sea Serum - Eh, passing. I really want to like this product. Everyone raves about it. I don’t know. I’ve been on and off of it for years and never notice a difference. I’m ready to put it to bed.
Ialuset // Hylauronic Acid Cream - Importing it till the day I die. This is my faaaaaavorite. Unfortunately, the real deal can only be found in a good ole French pharmacy. I was lucky enough to have a friend pop over to France for a wedding, so I had her load me up (thanks, Kendall!)
A313 // Retinol Pommade - See above. Though I recently became a Marie Veronique fan, so now I alternate when I don’t have my French goods.
Marie Veronique // Retinol Night Serum - I love that the retinol has Vitamin C. Definitely getting this bad boy again.
Marie Veronique // Balancing HypoTonic - And another reorder! It’s the first thing I put on after a wash. I’m hooked!
Grease up!
Goop // Every.Single.Face. - I crush this stuff. It’s lightweight and not greasy.
Goop // Resetting Spray - Hard pass. I was hoping for an easy spray to carry around. This stuff comes out heavy and gets everywhere.
Seaweed Bath Co. // Sheer Protect Daily Cream SPF 50 - What a sleeper hit! I grabbed this stuff on a whim at Sprouts—it's great. Affordable, not greasy, and totally does the trick.
Accoutrements
ARMRA // Liquid gold, monthly subscriber. I’ve been on it for a year now and it’s beaten out any probiotic by a long shot.
BioDance // Real Deep Mask - Oui! I caved after seeing a dermatologist do a before and after on his moisture meter. It also got a green stamp on EWG. It's affordable, stays on for 3-4 hours, and my skin loved it.
Noy Skin // Facial Reflexology - I'm still in shock over Danna, and continue to buy from Noy to support the family, which is easy because her products are incredible. I love her reflexology tool; I use this puppy every night before bed.
Make up
Lucrece // Zinc Solar Light Tint - Rebuy! This is my faaaavorite tinted moisturizer.
Soft n’Fat // Tallow Lip Balm - She’s out on her site, but I always grab this when it’s in stock.
Gucci // Concentré de Beauté - I don’t wear a lot of makeup and therefore skip concealer, but I was turned onto this recently and dig it. Pricey, but worth it.
Kosas // Cloud Set Powder - Kosas has yet to disappoint. Their whole line is great.
Thrive // Liquid Last - This is the only clean mascara that doesn’t smear. I've been using it for years with no plans to stop.
Giorgio Armani // Eyes To Kill - Last but not least! This was highly rec. (thanks Bri!) and I love it. Pricey, but again, worth it.
Whew. I suppose that brings us to the bottom of my makeup bag and the end of our journey. I’m not sure who out there was interested in this, but hopefully someone…
Stay moisturized and see ya next week!
I am VERY interested in this and I have follow up questions!!!!
Love knowing better clean products!! Thanks for all the suggestions. I’m going to check them out. Love you forevermore!!!!!
